“Wonder Land in Hokkaido” is an extremely recent thing produced in 2006, but it is a freehand drawing not computer graphics when it watches the original picture under the poster. The letter on the picture of the bear by a freehand drawing written as ” Do you come to Hokkaido?, When is it? “. The playful words that tempt a looking person into Hokkaido are written and feel a feeling of Tsunemi Umetsu who continued living there.

The person who knows Tsunemi Umetsu says that he had a very tolerant character. To see this exhibition, I felt like having felt enthusiasm and his personality from his many works which worked as a graphic designer for nearly 50 years. Finally, I want to tell people of next generation his many works and enthusiasm that gave the history of the Hokkaido design big influence in the future.
