‘Artist in Residence’ at this year’s Crossing Europe festival is the German artist Corinna Schnitt, who in her exhibition ‘Prima Leben’ (Beautiful Life) takes an affectionate and ironical look at the arrangements of everyday life in her photo, film and video works.

In its Local Artists section the Festival presents a selection of contemporary film and video works by Upper Austrian filmmakers. The most innovative achievement will be awarded a prize money of 6.000 euro.

The extensive Crossing Europe programme is complemented by numerous presentations, discussions and clubbing events at the O.K. Centre for Contemporary Art. Over 100 films are shown to the local and international audiences at the Moviemento and City-Kino, the cultural centre Kapu, and the O.K. Centre.
