LUCY MCKENZIE “SOMETHING THEY HAVE TO LIVE WITH”

The exhibition “Something They Have To Live With” by Lucy McKenzie is now on view at the Stedelijk Museum from April 6th to September 22th, 2013.
McKenzie has transformed the Museum’s former “hall of honor” into a unique space with an installation recalling the iconic interiors of Prague’s Villa Müller, designed by Adolf Loos, and the Moorish Alhambra in Granada. She has also added deceptively real trompe l’oeil paintings. Lose yourself in the various “displays”.
