The new A Lighthouse called Kanata gallery opens its Omotesando space with OPENING CEREMONY II, a collective exhibition celebrating the move from Nishi-Azabu and reaffirming its commitment to cross-cultural dialogue through contemporary art. In Shibuya, Philip Lumbang, a Los Angeles–based painter known for his optimistic “Hug Life” bears and urban pop imagery, brings his personal reflections on courage and vulnerability to the SLOTH GALLERY, echoing the festival’s central theme, “Brave – Pursuit of Instinctive Beauty.” Meanwhile, Okurayama Studio highlights the raw allure of nature in Date-Kan Stone, where Takasuke Yamada crafts sculptural vases from rare stones quarried in Okurayama, revealing their intrinsic power and quiet grace. In Nihonbashi, Atelier Matic presents FONTE, an exploration of the tension between natural and synthetic materials through luminous acrylic works and large-scale lampshades that bathe the space in a meditative glow.

The dialogue between art, design, and technology extends to Tokyo Midtown, where Range Rover and Klein Dytham Architecture unveil an installation that bridges automotive and architectural innovation. Their collaboration, Range Rover SV Bespoke, reimagines luxury through materiality and personalization, transforming Canopy Square into a conversation between movement, form, and modern craftsmanship. During the festival, Range Rover also serves as the official vehicle partner, connecting the city’s multiple venues and creative hubs. Finally, the spirit of collaboration culminates in CREATIVE BLEND, a one-night-only event at Daikanyama Tsutaya Books, where thirty leading figures from art, architecture, fashion, and design gathered as connectors to connect many people and exchange ideas, and spark new synergies.
