Not excepting Richie Hawtin from the list, I shook off mellow temptation and went back to SOLAR STAGE. Of course, his performance met my expectation and I had a great time. And so, followed by O.N.O (THA BLUE HERB), Q’HEY, Darren Emerson at LUNAR STAGE.

Both laser and VJ works are so intense with sounds that excitement never dies down even just be there. DJ Darren Emerson and VJ Naohiro Ukawa particularly. I went a hot spring in the back as got tired. (You could hear sounds from there as well!)

My first visit to PLANET STAGE was at the break of dawn, however, I got a thick head because of the distance and flopped down. Listening to beautiful music by CALM. Some friends enjoyed MODEL500 very much, and some like DJ Mayuri and others.

I was in another uncommon world after the event was over and came back to Tokyo. That reminded me of year 2000 when I saw Awa-odori in Kouenji on the way back from METAMORPHOSE thinking both the rave and this local traditional dance festival have something in common.

Hoping to enjoy thorough and thorough next year since I didn’t dance so much this time.
