In the constant search for new club concepts, developers have approached the London underground with a view to turn disused stations into nightclubs. Safety issues seem to be preventing progress which is a shame because I think it will all be very amusing. I’ll keep you informed.

Another underground experience already available is Home, a bar on Leonard Street, EC1. It’s a basement bar which also serves quality food as does the new generation of bars in the area. It’s owned by Rikki Tick’s entre prenuer, but don’t let this put you off as it’s alright. Like all cool establishments, fun isn’t on the menu unless you’re off your face or know a lot of shorditch digerarty and don’t mind conversing with them.
