Pocket Films Festival 2008 has taken place at the Pompidou Centre in Paris from June 13-15. All the award-winning films and the selection of the competition can be watched on their website.

This year, the Festival Pocket Films presented works from 30 different countries. 140 films made with mobile telephones were presented on the cinema screen, and 150 mobile videos were presented on mobile telephone screens.

One hundred of filmmakers, artists, producers, from all over the world including international guests such as Isabella Rossellini, Stephen Dwoskin, and Masaki Fujihata, presented their works in the field of mobile video creation. More than 7,000 spectators visited the festival experiencing a myriad of propositions this year : films presented on multiple screen sizes, the possibility to “Take home” with them video creations designed for wireless diffusion, mobile filmmaking workshops and video-walks throughout the center of Paris.
