Masamichi Katayama / Wonderwall
After 7 weeks of renovation, colette re-opened last August 25th ! The space, designed by architect Masamichi Katayama / Wonderwall offers a new path through three levels with streetwear, CD/DVDs, high tech on the ground floor / fashion, beauty, gallery, a space for temporary projects on the first floor and still the water-bar in the basement (including new TOTO bathrooms!) colette’s website undergoes some changes as well, with a brand new eshop where soon all products available at the store will be for sale (temporary flash version). Also, a new blog section has been created with guest contributors joining in frequently.

colette x Gap
GAP invited colette in its space for temporary projects, situated along its flagship store at the corner of NYC’s 5th avenue & 54th street, for a limited time: only one month. colette x Gap will offer a wide selection of unseen before products created through French-American collaborations and of numerous exclusive items. These products will also be available at colette in Paris: customized Gap clothes by André, Olympia Le Tan, Clements Ribeiro; accessories in Gap’s famous grey jersey (Repetto, Longchamp, Alexis Mabille) and t-shirts designed by collaborations between several New York and Paris artists & souvenir items by Kuntzel + Deygas.

Saiko Runner MT
Saiko Runner MT is a running sneaker inspired from the late 1970s, in a mid cut version. “Saiko” means Ultimate in Japanese and sounds like ‘psycho’ in English. Its important technical features include a fairly thick mid-sole for effective cushioning and a profiled outsole for better grip. Its heel cap provides improved protection and stability. Here’s the colette version with stars by Kuntzel+Deygas. A limited edition of 100 pairs!

Sølve Sundsbø
This Sølve Sundsbø’s first solo exhibition in Paris presents Parrots still and moving images, until September 27th.
Born in 1970, Sølve already contributed to magazines such as Pop, The Face, i-D, Dazed & Confused, Harper’s Bazaar, Numero, Big, Visionaire and Japanese Vogue. Thank you to Parnasse and LG for their participation. The catalogue “Perroquet” published by Gun gallery is now available on eshop as well as the skateboard produced by colette.

When famous toy brand, Margarete Steiff GmbH, decides to produce the first ever “couture” teddy bear, they choose the master of today’s luxury: Karl Lagerfeld. A unique and unusual collaboration showing how Lagerfeld always is on the avant garde. Steiff innovates and brings the first teddy bear made for older kids.
