colette news June

Former Aussie and now try-hard Parisien writer Linlee Allen wholly confesses to being the "all-round groupie" of concept store colette, located in the French capital. Having participated in the world-famous boutique's range of events across the globe, whether it be performing in a radio show in Copenhagen, photographing guests at a party in Japan or being the first - and the last - one on the dancefloor at a CD launch party in New York, she relates to the colette way of life and here, lists her favourite finds from colette for the Spring/Summer 07 season ahead.

RE-DECO COLLECTION BY LIADR
Without a doubt one of my favourites for the year to date at colette as artistic director Jaime Hayón teams up with the legendary Spanish brand to create a collection of classic porcelain figurines comprising everything from bears and rabbits to cheesy settings of princes and princesses.
Think old-school Jeff Koons style. Super cool!!!

SUPER SUNGLASSES
Everyone in Paris is freaking out about these right now.
Italian brand Super have produced a range of sunglasses in a rainbow of colours.
A total must-have for Summer 2007.

KORNER : MYSTIFY
Aussie beauty brand Korner is back with a mega-hydrating face spray which smells heavenly (think exotic rose flowers and fruits for the skin).
Definately a favourite from colette for me in June.

THE JACK KEROUAC PROJECT BY HOGAN
Lets face it, any brand which pumps out a collection of apparel and accessories based around a famous writer has gotta be on to something good.
Especially when the writer is Jack Kerouac, leading member of the famed Beat Generation. Here's to a big-up nod of respect for Hogan for producing
the classy collection designed for an oldskool nomadic voyageur.
