Great… and how about the Fluo bag? That’s been really popular too right?

Yes. The Fluo bag was our first product and our best seller (laughs).

Elegantly simple. available in calf leather and 4 solid colors.

And where did the idea come from?

Well, we thought that the traditional plastic shopping bag in Germany, which is available everywhere in supermarkets and department stores, is the best bag! Everyone uses it everyday, the shape is everywhere so we wanted to recast it in leather and make it longer lasting.

Your products have very smooth, continuous surfaces…

Right, well, we like pure, simple and minimal aesthetics- it is who we are, our identity and approach. We don’t use decoration or very bright colors like pinks or reds. Actually, people have asked if they can have our bag in red or the indoor sleeping bag in silk, but I have to apologize and say no [laughs].

Great. and what’s next for such a young design house?

Well, we want to focus on furniture more, since we are furniture designers, and take a step back from accessories. We want to continue to make bigger things and not just focus on smaller items. So we are heading into tables and chairs and are making a flat dining table right now.
