Maison Martin Margiela, December 7 to January 2nd
colette invites Maison Martin Margiela into our corner space and plunges you into the white world, via the line 13: giant snowball, Matryoshkas, fabric calendars, bottle lamps, goose or ostrich feather fountain pens, the line 12 jewelry with Damiani, and exclusively for colette, the re-issue of the vintage wool and silk scarf from the “Artisanal” Autumn/Winter 2001-2002. Each scarf is unique. Then, in association with Swarovski: the ebellishment of a book Maison Martin Margiela published by Rizzoli and Flammarion, with CRYSTALLIZED™- Swarovski Elements and the cotton bag covered with a fishnet of crystal CRYSTALLIZED™. Finally, the colette shopping bags are revisited by MMM, a collector’s item for your December shopping! One must unfortunately wait until January 25th for the perfume, in world preview at colette.

Swarovski White Crystal Christmas, December 7 to January 2nd
In December it will be the White Crystal Christmas at colette, in the wonderful world of Swarovski: We will discover the most beautiful pieces of Swarovski Crystal Palace (Eternal by Tokujin Yoshioka, Caillou from the Bouroullec brothers, Blossom by Tord Boontje…) including Osmosis by Arik Levy whose book (Thames & Hudson) will premiere at colette. Atelier Swarovski will of course be present, featuring an exhibition of Zaha Hadid‘s first ever jewellery Collection. The futuristic shapes from the world famous architect contrast beautifully with the traditional Swarovski style, and are available to order on request.

And calling to mind the multiple facets of crystal, one can also find the costumes for the Viktor & Rolf opera, the new D:Light watch in pink gold, Daniel Swarovski accessories and figurines, such as the beautiful snowflake by Ingo Maurer (whose profits go to Unicef).
And that’s not all! colette had various objects embellished with CRYSTALLIZED™ – Swarovski Elements to give them a new dimension: a Kuntzel + Deygas Diptyque, Medicom Toy Be@rbricks, a pair of Adidas Wings by Jeremy Scott, a Chocolate Street Machine skateboard, a Quiksilver surfboard and a bottle cork. Ruby News
For its 4th limited edition collaboration, lest ateliers Ruby are back in business with Karl Lagerfeld. The famous Pavillon helmet model is covered with black and white tweed, red wool embroidered with pearls or totally in black mink and white rex rabbit fur. Besides this helmet collection, a silk scarf printed with the design of the Ruby Women by Karl Lagerfeld, is also available from December 12th.

And for their first Legend program, Atelier Ruby celebrates Bob The Sponge 10 years anniversary, the american well-known icon, that all people from all ages loves in different kind of way, and with a jolly sens of silliness. Anniversary edition of 200 numbered copies.

The Beatles
The Beatles are honored at colette! Comme des Garçons partners with the record company founded by the Beatles, Apple Corps Ltd., to create a line of bags and tee-shirts inspired by the work of the British group, exclusively for Paris at colette from mid-December. To be worn while listening to all the MP3 tracks on the 16GB USB key created by Apple and Emi, adopting the shape of the apple, the label’s logo, containing 14 albums, 13 mini video documentaries, rare photos, the artwork of all the albums, and explanatory texts, in limited edition. Fabulous, isn’t it?
