In a dilapidated barn, on a tree, in a mountain of tires, in stables… I found TVs, which showed the sky of Obihiro, in many places within the venue. The total number of TVs is 81. This is a multi version of “Sky TV” that Yoko Ono presented in 1966.

Why did I feel comfortable seeing TVs in nature even though they are machines? A stable is divided into many small rooms and horses can get a rest there. I could also find TVs there. Each room was smaller and darker than I thought. I felt a yearning for the outside world when I was watching the Sky TV.

“Many things happened in my life. However, the sky is always spread out above me whenever I looked up. I always have got the sky.” When I chewed over her words, I thought that irritating and feeling sad about small things is nonsense and felt a power welling up in me. It was fun to collect 1-cm-square sky stickers that were place next to the TVs. I put them in order, and then a small sky was spread out in front of me.
