On Julu Lu Road, you can see a lot of French architecture built during their settlement of the area in Shanghai. Brightened up with new fancy shops, the street still retains a quiet character. There, you can find a quaint little bookstore named Dukouジュールールー通りはフランス租界時代の建物が多く見られる。おしゃれな店が建ち並ぶようになってはきたが、通りの雰囲気は変わらず静かである。そこにドゥーコウ書店（渡口書店）という小さな本屋がある

The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation is responsible for Index, a creative space reserved for exhibitions, seminars, lectures and so forth. It is free admission and it is open for public every day except Mondayスウェーデン現代美術協会が運営する「インデックス」。ここは展覧会やセミナー、講義などが行われるクリエイティブな空間だ。入場は無料で、月曜日を除いては毎日営業している。ここでは異なる芸術協会の協力を受けて、年に４回の展覧会が行われる
