Jessica Trosman’s market success began several years ago. Her first business was renowned brand Trosman Churba – with Martín Churba. After many years working together, they came to a headジェシカ・トロスマンの人気は数年前に始まる。かつて彼女はマルティン・チューバと共にトロスマン・チューバというブランドを成功させていた。長年活動を共にした後、二人はそれぞれ自らのブランドを立ち上げるため2002年に解散。そして生まれたのが、トロスマンである。
彼女の洋服に対する情熱は、幼い頃、母親と一緒に洋服を買いに出かけていた頃から培われてきた。そして少しずつデザインは彼女の表現の手段となってゆき、彼女の幸せの源となっていった。
トロスマンのスタイルは個性的である。独特の形、プリーツ、そして素材。一目見て、触れてみればたちまちとりこになってしまう。『インスピレーションは主に、動物の骨の形や、建物の骨組、建築、アートなど、様々な形のシミュレーションから得ています。2010年秋冬コレクションでは、いくつかのプリントからなる幾何学的な形からイメージを膨らませ、それを基にパターンを作り、人体にあてはめました。』と彼女は話す。
前回のコレクションは、洋服の伝統的な形を重ね合わせ脱構築するという試みがプリーツの中に織り込まれた、神秘にあふれるものであった。ブラックや麻色を豊かに使い、レザーやウールといった高級な素材が美しい光沢を放つ。彼女が創りだす非日常的なデザインを纏えば、SFに登場する戦士や、見たこともない不思議な生物にも変身できてしまいそう。

Translation: Shiori Saito in which each one of them wants to steer the brand, so they decide to split up and it is then – 2002 – when Trosman is born.
Jessica’s passion for clothes developed in her early childhood, when she would usually go with her mother when she shopped for clothes. Little by little, design became her means of expression, her source of happiness.
Trosman style is unique: unusual shapes, pleats, fabrics that cause us to fall for them at first sight and at first touch. ‘I get most of my inspiration from the shapes of animal bones, the skeletons of buildings, architecture, art, the simulation of shapes… in Colección A/W 2010 I started from the geometric shapes created by some prints and from that I moved onto pattern making, simulating the same things in the body.’ She said.
The last collection is full of mystery to be found in pleats that create a game of superposition and deconstruction of classic shapes of clothing items. There are plenty of black and ecru colour shades, glitters on noble fabrics such as leather, wool, etc.
The fantasy of turning into a science fiction warrior or an amphibian never seen before may come true when wearing the designs by this out-of-the-ordinary creative designer.
