Palermo is such a surprise box, full of places to eat or spent time reading and drinking a good espresso coffee. One of them is Bar 6. From the path of Armenia’s Street食事や読書、美味しいエスプレッソコーヒーを飲んでゆったり出来る場所に溢れたオモチャ箱のようなパレルモ・ソーホー地区にある「バー6」もまた、そんな素敵な時間を過ごせる場所の一つである。
アルメニア通りから見える、高い天井が開放感を与える店内は、木の椅子やテーブルが並んだ中に真紅や赤のソファーが映え、心地良い音楽が流れており、通りかかった人々を思わず誘い入れる特別な魅力のようなものを持っている。
シンプルで実用的、そして家庭的な場所として2000年にオープンしたこのバーには、9ペソ（約3ドル）以下でフルーツサラダ、ジュース、自家製パン、フルーツジャム、ベーグル、クロワッサン、コーヒーなどの朝食が取れるとあって、今では毎朝およそ50人もの人々が通って来るという。また、このバーで提供される食事は100%手作りという拘りを持つ。
昼食にはアボガド、焼きトウモロコシ、ヨーグルトが付いたココナッツ風味の海老のグリル焼き（9ドル）やタイ米の一種である香り高いサスミン米が添えられた鴨胸肉のガーリックソースがけ（12ドル）、鳥胸肉のブリーチーズとソース詰め（6ドル）などがおすすめ。
夕方からはウォッカ、グレープフルーツ、生姜で作った「カルロス」（6ドル）、青りんご、コニャック、砂糖を加えた流行の「アップルコニャック」(3.5ドル）、さらに日本酒、ライム、砂糖、レッドフルーツで作った「レッドフルーツのカイピ日本酒」などの異国情緒漂うドリンクが楽しめる。また夜にはさらに、特別な夜用のメニューも用意されている。
オープン以来、このバーは多くのアルゼンチン人や外国人にとって地元の定番スポットとなり、食事をしたり、読書、メールチェック、友達と喋ったり、仕事の打ち合わせなど様々に使われている場所として、多くの若者達も訪れている。

Translation: Yuki Mine you can see a spacious place with violet and red sofas among wood chairs and tables, high ceilings, good music; a very special ambient that attracts make passer-bys in.
Open by Eduardo Ballester y Francisco González Álzaga on October 2000 with the idea of running a place to stay: simple, functional, with “home spirit”.
Around 50 people have breakfast every day for no more than 9 “pesos” (3USD): Fruit salad, juices, home-made bread, fruit’s jam, bagels, croissants and coffee.
For lunch Bar 6 has many flashy options: grilled prawns in coconut with avocado, toasted corn and yogurt (9USD); Duck magret with garlic sauce and thasmin rice (12USD; Chicken breast stuffed with brie cheese and girgola sauce (6USD).
When the sun goes down the house offers exotic drinks: “Carlos” made of vodka, grapefruit and ginger (6USD); “Apple Cognac” a trendy mix of green apple, cognac and sugar (3,50USD); “Caipisake with red fruits” –sake, lime, sugar and red fruits (5USD).
By night the offer is the “black menu”, with more elaborated options for the night time. The peculiarity of the food is that everything available at Bar 6 is 100% home made.
In 6 years this bar has become a necessary place on the local fancy circuit for Argentineans and foreigners. The place is usually inhabited by trendy people –chic, young and carefree looking for a good place to eat, read, check e-mails (wi-fi hotspot), meeting with friends or have a job appointment. That is what makes you see the Bar 6 functionality and how easily is become a habitué of the place.
