In the corner of Thames and Costa Rica streets, the passersby’s attention is captured: a world of delights opens up and Tintha, an ‘old time’ stationery where each object for saleタメス通りとコスタ・リカ通りの交差点で通行者の目に飛び込んでくるのは、楽しそうな世界が広がるお店、シンサ・ステーショナリーだ。どこか懐かしさを感じさせる、文房具好きのための文房具店だ。
まず目に留まるのは、店内へと誘われる魅力的なショーウィンドウ。中に入ると木目調のインテリアで、文房具が柄や種類ごとに並んでいる。 この店を開いたロリー・カーマンはグラフィックデザイナーで、特にペーパー類や文房具には目がなく、その愛情が店を開くまでになり、アルゼンチンでは草分け的な存在になった。
いろいろなノートや、ブロックメモ、ボックス、封筒、手帳、キッチン用品など、幅広い品ぞろえであちこちに目が向かう。この店では招待状や文房具のオーダーデザインも手掛けている。お勧め商品は、想像力をかきたてるようなテーマ性のあるシリーズのものだ。例えば、カラフルなペーパーとノートがセットになった「春の気配」シリーズは、気持ちのいい春を思い出させる。
もうひとつ紹介しておきたいのは、キラキラのラメやレトロな図柄がデザインされたタグ、しおり、カードのセットだ。シンサ・ステーショナリーで買えるこれらのアイテムは、とてもかわいいものばかり。親しい人への贈り物にはぴったりだろう。

The first impression is conveyed by an always inviting shop window. Inside the store the wooden furniture, the prints and different kinds of paper arrange a particular universe. The idea of opening this store was Lory Kerman’s, who is a graphic designer with a weakness for paper and stationery in particular, a passion that has led her to create Tintha and become one of the pioneers in the field in Argentina.
Attention is divided in the wide variety of products: all sorts of copybooks, blocks, boxes, envelopes, sets of planners, kitchen products, etc. It also offers a service of special design for invitations and personal stationery. The most special products are the thematic collections that invite a game of imagination, an excellent example is ‘Spring is in the air’ a set of very colourful paper and copybooks that are reminiscent of the freshness of spring.
Another must at Tintha is the set of glittery pictures, old-fashioned style, which comes with tags, bookmarks and big cards to assemble. All the items sold at Tintha have a special charm thus becoming ideal gifts for our loved ones.
