The Café “Cake” lies in the cafe-streaked street Choriner Straße some 200m away from the more know Kastanien Alle. The interior of the cafe is made by the Danish artist Claus Rasmussen有名なカスタニアン・アレー通りから200mほど離れたカフェが建ち並ぶコーリナー通りにある カフェ「ケーキ」。デンマーク人のアーティスト、クラウス・ラスムッセンが手掛けた内装は、白と暗めの赤, as part of the satirical concept of elevating the art of sugar intake. It is meticulously clean and neat with focus on simplicity in white and dark red colours.
As a conceptual cafe it only serves Danish inspired cakes made with cream and French Tarte a la Tartin. All cakes are homemade and can be ordered as takeaways. A recommendation goes for the tasty apple pie with vanilla ice-cream which is meticulously well-crafted. Drinks are limited to pressed coffee, tea, lemonade and cava. It is possible also to stay overnight as the cafe has rooms for board.

カフェとしての考え方にこだわったこのお店では、クリームが添えられたデニッシュペーストリーとフランスのタルトタタンしか店頭に並べない。ケーキはテイクアウトもできる。おすすめはアイスクリームの乗ったおいしいアップルパイだ。
