The restaurant El Muelle is located along the pier over the river Rio de la Plata. The second floor of the fishing club, inaugurated in 1937, is dedicated to a restaurant. The retro taste of this building makes it seem to float on the riverラ・プラタ川にかかる桟橋沿いにあるレストラン。1937年に開業した漁業クラブの２階に位置する。レトロな味わいの建物はまるで川に浮かんでいるかの様。だからこそレストランから見渡す川の景色も絶品。白で統一された店内は、一面の窓ガラスによって青空、そして水面に反射する光へ開放されている。
ブエノスアイレス一おいしい魚が食べられるレストランと言っても過言ではない。ここでしか食べられない魚たちが揃っている。アルゼンチンでは珍しいマグロとハーブのソテー、カジキマグロと空豆・アスパラガス・ベーコンのソテー添え、アジの丸焼き、他にも珍しいハタ、パクー、アバデッホなどが新鮮なうちに食べられる。
アルゼンチンでは驚くほどの食材の豊富さと、彩りの楽しさ、そして味付けのよさは格別。豊富なワインリストも魅力的。アルゼンチンの価格スタンダードからは少しお高めだが、ア・ラ・カルトではなく、シェフの特別メニューを頼めばドリンク付きでお買い得に。
何よりもブエノスアイレスにいながら、ちょっとしたバケーション気分の開放感と静けさの中、絶品の魚料理を食べられる超おすすめスポット。

Text: Mami Goda. The view from the restaurant over the river is such an excellent thing. The restaurant’s interior is uniform white in color, and offers a sense of openness to the sky and brilliant surface of the river through the windows.
It is not an exaggeration to say this is the best place to eat delicious and fresh fish in Buenos Aires. They also have rare fishes that are usually difficult to get: Red tuna with sautéed herbs, billfish with sautéed asparagus, beans with bacons, roasted mackerels, and even Pacú and Kingclip.
In El muelle restaurant, you find the richness of foodstuffs, the joy of color and the excellent way of seasoning. They also have a rich wine list. It’s more expensive than standard Argentine prices, but they also have the fixe chef’s menu including drinks for a reasonable price.
In being Buenos Aires, you can have a vacation mood with the openness and tranquility. This is a highly recommended place for fish lovers.
