Contrary to the Showa-style retro exterior, the interior of the ‘Teshima Inn’ has a stylish and modern atmosphere. First established in 1968, the design of the inn was renewed昭和を感じさせるレトロな外観とは裏腹に、館内はスタイリッシュでモダンなインテリアで統一された「てしま旅館」。昭和43年に創業し、2004年にインテリアデザイナーの辻村久信氏によって全面リニューアルされた。
ロビーは、木を基調としたシンプルな空間になっており、室内は和と洋が融合された、モダンだが落ち着く雰囲気の洋室を含む、和室・洋室・ロフト付和洋室の３タイプがある。そして、館内全体にデザインされている、間接照明のやさしい光が、心地よい癒しの空間を作り出している。
お風呂は阿知須温泉の「源河の湯」。アメニティーも充実しており、21時以降には、お風呂上がりにビールのサービスまで。浴衣、タオル、スリッパなどのリネン系は「SOU・SOU」によるデザインのものを使用。部屋には、お香やお茶などが常備され、さらに、お夜食のサービスがあったりと、いたれりつくせり。また、JAZZが流れるダイニングでは、地元の食材を使った会席料理が供される。
デザイナーズホテルのお洒落でモダンなスタイルと、旅館ならではの細やかなサービスが融合し、ゆったりとした贅沢な時間を過ごすことができる。

The lobby is a simple space with the theme of wood as the basis of the design and the guest rooms are modern but relaxing fusions of Japanese and Western style rooms. The rooms come in 3 different types including Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms and rooms with lofts. The indirect lighting that is set throughout the entire inn are creates a comfortable and healing space.
The bath water is the ‘Genka Hot Water’ from the Azisu Hot Spring. Substantial services are also provided such as a glass of beer, offered just after the bath. Linens such as the yukata, towel and slippers are all designed by ‘Sou Sou’. In the rooms, incense and tea are always available. In addition, dinner can also be served, which is just perfect. At the dining area, there is a banquet along with smooth jazz music.
It is possible to enjoy a luxurious time that can only be achieved through the stylishness of a boutique hotel and the attentive service of an inn.
