An island city-state that is both a city and a country. Hailed as an economic phenomenon, it is only in it's early forties in age. A red dot in the world map that is only about seven hundred square kilometres in size, it houses almost five million people and is growing as we speak. Once British colony, once labeled a cultural desert and an architectural Disneyland, it is morphing into a vibrant city (or country?) that is coming to grips with globalisation and self identity.
