“Tsuru Cafe” in Miyanomori is a cafe focusing on traditional French confectioneries (cakes, and cookies) and delicatessens (Baguette Sandwiches and quiche), and art札幌宮の森には、フランス伝統菓子を中心としたケーキと焼き菓子、バケットサンドやキッシュなどのデリカ、そしてアート展示を楽しめるお店「TSURU CAFE」（ツルカフェ）がある。場所は、地下鉄東西線28丁目駅の２番出口から、山の手通を宮の森方面へ５分ほど歩いた所にある白いマンションの１階。
ツルの形をしたドアを開くと、ガラスのショーケースに、鶴岡夫妻が作る美しい彩りのケーキや季節の素材を使ったデリカが宝石のように並んでいる。テイクアウトはもちろん、店内のカフェスペースで寛ぎながらケーキや食事を堪能することもできるので、特別な日だけでなく、まるでフランスで生活しているように、日常生活に合わせて気軽に楽しめるのが魅力だ。
建築家の五十嵐雄祐氏が設計を手がけた店内は、柔らかい白を基調としたシンプルで暖かみのある雰囲気。同氏がプロデュースする店内のアートウォール「TSURU CABE」（ツルカベ）では、約１ヶ月おきに展示アーティストが変わっていくので、様々なアートを眺めながら美味しいケーキや食事を堪能してみたい。

Text: Ayumi Yakura. Located on the 1st floor of a white apartment, you can reach here within a 5-minute walk on Yamanote Street from the 2nd exit of Subway Nishi 28-Chome Station.
When you open the door that is in a shape of a “crane”, in the glass showcase you would see cakes with beautiful colors and delicatessens made of seasonal ingredients which all look like jewelry – and all made by the Tsuruokas.
Available for both takeout and eat-in at the café; you can enjoy and relax whether if it’s a casual or special day – almost as if living in France.
The interior was designed by Yusuke Igarashi who used white color in a simple way to give the café a feeling of warm-heartedness. On the art wall named “Tsuru Kabe” (Kabe means wall) which he produces, various artworks appear monthly. Please enjoy here with both eyes and tongue.
