「ESQUISSE (エスキス）」とは、絵画などの 「下絵・スケッチ」 のこと。
お店が「未完成の下書きの存在」で、これから来て下さる色々な方々によって色を塗られ、そして完成していく…。そんな想いが込められています。“Esquisse” means “rough sketches”. The cafe in “unfinished existence like a draft” will be gradually completed with customers’ colors… This is what the name represents.店内の青い壁には、絵画や写真、彫刻などジャンルを問わず月替わりの貸しギャラリーとなっていて、オープン以来、地元のアーティストの作品を多数展示しています。
