SOHO, New York, has a lot of famous brand’s flagship shops and is always bustling by many people. There is shop named “Seven New York” on Mercer Street in SOHO数々の有名ブランドの路面店やセレクトショップで賑わうニューヨークのショッピングエリア、ソーホー地区。セブン・ニューヨークはそんな賑やかな街、ソーホー地区のマーサーストリートに店を構えるセレクトショップ. It is really hard to find this shop, because it is in a semi-basement. You can use the inside of a shop based in black and white from window along a sidewalk and the flag written “Seven New York” over the entrance for your guide when you visit them.
We can see that the famous brands’ and new brands’ clothes, shoes and accessories mainly from Europe are displayed on the inside. In addition, we can enjoy their display on the center corner of the inside. It is used for their clothes and for like an exhibition space of art works by artists. All items in this shop are edgy and no compromise, so many fashion lover and artists always visit there. Mainly from Europe, Raf Simons, Gareth Pugh and Bernhard Willhelm, and Rad Hourani, Juun. J, Gulliano Fujiwara from North American and Asian brands are there. Furthermore, they have new hot brand “1to3” which is created by Motoki Ito who is manager of Seven New York and designer.
If you like fashion, you should visit there to feel world hot brands’ items in sick atmosphere. I strongly suggest you to visit there if you have an opportunity to go to SOHO.

Text: Wataru Shimosatoだ。半地下にある店のため最初はなかなか見つけにくいかもしれないが、歩道に面したガラス窓から見える黒と白を基調とした内装と、店の入り口上部にあるセブン・ニューヨークのフラッグが目印だ。
店内は、ヨーロッパのブランドを中心に、人気ブランド、新鋭ブランドの服やシューズ、アクセサリーが並ぶ。また店内中央のスペースは、アイテムのディスプレイの他にアーティストの作品がディスプレイされるエキシビジョン空間としても使用され、訪れる者を楽しませてくれる。エッジィで妥協のないセレクトによって選ばれたアイテム達を取り揃えるこの店は、服好きを始めアーティストなどの顧客も多い。取り扱いブランドは、ラフ・シモンズ、ガレス・ピュー、ベルンハルト・ウィルヘルムなどに加え、ラッド・ホーラーニ、JUUN. J、ジュリアーノ・フジワラなどの北米ブランド、アジアブランドなど多岐に及ぶ。またセブン・ニューヨークのマネージャー兼デザイナーでもある、伊藤元紀氏の手がける現在注目のブランド、1to3も扱っている。
ファッション好きならば世界から注目されているデザイナーのアイテムを、雰囲気のある店内で感じることができるだけでも訪れてみる価値はあるだろう。ソーホー地区に訪れる際は是非とも訪れたい店の一つである。
