The Hole is a new art outfit in New York City run by Kathy Grayson, a former director at the legendary and closed Deitch Projects. Kathy has put together numerous art exhibitionsザ・ホールは、今は無きダイチ・プロジェクト・ギャラリーでディレクターとして働いていたキャシー・グレイソンが2011年6月にバワリー街にオープンしたギャラリー。キャシーは、キュレーター、ライター、アート・アドバイザー、最近ではi-Dマガジンのアート・エディターとしても活躍している。
ザ・ホールの目標はダイチが残した「ダウンタウンのコミュニティの“穴”を埋めること」。展覧会やイベントの開催の他、シーズンごとにアーティストを起用し、アートブックやジン、ポスターやグッズを販売する「ホリー・ブックス」を主宰している。

“Filling a hole in the downtown community” will be their goal. Besides experimental exhibitions, The Hole will be organizing numerous events and community services including HOLEY BOOKS, a shop of art books, zines, posters and products in the storefront of 312 Bowery designed by a different artist every season.
