MoMA (the Museum of Modern Art) acquired its first artworks in 1929, the year it was established. Today, MoMA’s evolving collection contains almost 200,000 works from around the world spanning the last 150 years.MoMA（モマ）として知られるニューヨーク近代美術館は、1929年の開館以来、20万点に及ぶ20世紀の作品をコレクションしてきた。コレクションは、絵画から彫刻、版画、ドローイング、写真、建築、デザイン、映画、メディア、そしてパフォーミングアートまでその幅を広げている。
