ジェームス・テイラー ・ギャラリーは２人のアーティストによって設立された非営利の展示スペース。ロンドンの東に位置するハックニーにありThe James Taylor Gallery is a not-for-profit exhibition space established by two artists in a large sprawling, multi-roomed warehouse in Hackney, East London.、広大なスペースと、多数の部屋がある倉庫。ビクトリア朝の工場、陶磁器製品の倉庫、不法占拠での映像ロケ地として使用されるなど、この広い空間の顔がシフトしていることがうかがえる。

A conscious decision was made by the founders to retain these reminders of its past resulting in a space which provides a respite from the traditional “white cube”.

The 10,000sqft gallery provides a platform for emerging artists and curators excited by the challenge to create work which contends with the building ‘as is’, inspired by its distinctive features and grand scale.
