「ウナルトラ・ヴォルタ」はそんなブエノスアイレスきってのアイスクリームパーラーの一つ。ここには30年もの間家族で続けてきたジェラート作りで培われた伝統が息づいており、舌の肥えた人々をも唸らせる繊細な本場の味が堪能できる。
ヴォルタのアイスクリームはチョコレート、クリーム、ドゥルセ・デ・レーチェ（ミルクキャラメル）、フルーツ、”本物”、低カロリーといったカテゴリーに分けられている。「チョコレート・テンタシオン」（ブラウニー、ナッツ、ドゥルセ・デ・レーチェ）、「アメリカン・クッキーズ」（ホイップクリーム、バニラ、チョコレートクッキー、ドゥルセ・デ・レーチェを合わせたクレマ・アメリカーナというアルゼンチンのアイスクリームフレーバーの一種）、あるいは「キャラメル＆ピーナッツ」（キャラメルクリーム、ピーナッツ、チョコチップ、ドゥルセ・デ・レーチェ）などは恐らくここでしか味わえないメニューだろう。ちなみにドゥルセ・デ・レーチェはどれも正真正銘の本物が使用されている。
アイス以外にメニューに並ぶのはエクレアにプチ・ガトー、プティ・フール、フルーツパイ、マフィン、スコーン、チョコレート、トリュフなど思わず引き寄せられる甘いものたちばかり。またラバッツァのコーヒーや、異国情緒漂う正統派のインド・スリランカ・中国産上質の茶葉を使用した紅茶も甘美な味のお供にいかがだろうか。

Un´altra Volta is doubtless one of the best ice-cream parlours in the city, the result of a family tradition wrought in its 30 years of experience making gelato. Volta ice-cream has a genuine flavour of delicate consistency capable of satisfying the most discerning palate.
Chocolate, cream, dulce de leche (milk caramel), fruits, ‘genuine’ and light are the flavour categories Volta offers. Chocolate Tentación (brownie, nuts and real dulce de leche), American Cookies (Crema Americana – a mixture of whipped cream and vanilla – with chocolate cookies and real dulce de leche), or Caramel & peanuts (caramel cream with peanuts, chocolate chips and real dulce de leche) are the most exclusive flavours which you will probably only find at this ice-cream shop.
As well as ice-cream, there are high-quality pastries – éclairs, petit gateaux, petit fours, fruit pies, muffins, scones – chocolates and truffles.
