Sandra Perelmuter and Patricia Gallo are responsible for a proposal as striking as it is innovative: I Fresh Market. It is a new concept where a coffee store, a restaurant, a gourmet market, a bazaar and flowers live togetherサンドラ・ペレルムターとパトリシア・ガジョが立ち上げたのは斬新さに溢れる、その名も「イ・フレッシュ・マーケット」。コーヒーショップやレストラン、品揃え豊富な食料品店、市場、花屋が一つ屋根の下に集まる新しい形態の店だ。ここには品質・デザインに優れ、かつ各店が自ら作った商品を取り揃えている。
最初の店舗が出来たのは2003年、再開発地区プエルト・マデロの川の向かいの埋立地である。敷地内に一歩足を踏み入れると、棚に並ぶ一つ一つ厳選された商品が目に入ってくる。洋菓子やチーズ、冷肉盛り合わせ、果物、野菜、生花、デリカテッセン。
店内のメニューも、販売されている商品に負けず劣らず美味しい点がこのレストラン最大の魅力である。一例を挙げると、黒オリーブペーストがかかったモッツァレラ・ルッコラ・トマトコンフィのミルフィーユや、ほうれん草と海草のとろりとしたクリームソースがかかったカラフトマスなど。
食後にはミルクチョコレートトリュフの上にブラウニー、さらにその上にはナッツとラズベリーのソースがかかった一品の様な甘美な味が堪能できる。
ここに挙げたメニューは「イ・フレッシュ」で味わえる美味な料理のほんの一部。近くの港を散策したり、目と鼻の先にあるフォルタバット美術館を訪れた際には是非お昼時に立ち寄って、実際に美味しい料理を堪能して欲しい。

The beginning of this deli market dates from the late 2003. The first shop was opened in Puerto Madero, opposite the river. On entering the premises, a visitor’s attention gets caught in the gondola shelves filled with carefully selected gastronomic products — patisserie, cheese and cold cuts, fruit and vegetables, fresh flowers, delicatessen, to mention but a few.
But that is not all; the best part is knowing that when you sit at a table, what you order will be as delicious as those products that afterwards you can take home: Mozzarella, rocket and confit tomatoes millefeuille with black olive paste, or pink salmon with cream spinach and seaweed emulsion, or a sweet delight, such as milk chocolate truffle on a brownie with nuts and raspberry sweet sorbet.
These are just a few of the wonderful I Fresh proposals for diners. I Fresh should ideally be visited at midday, taking advantage of a tour around the harbour, or a visit to the Fortabat Collection, which is located just a few metres away from the restaurant.
