レジデンシア・コラゾンはブエノスアイレスのラプラタに2002年に設立し、アーティストの仕事を通して様々なイベントを開催している。Since 2002 in the city of La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina) Corazón exhibits the work of artists and generates events in different disciplines.クオリティの高い仕事を重視し、伝統的でオルタナティブなチャンネルを通し、文化的な活動をアーティストのためだけでは無く、地元のコミュニティと旅行客のためにも公開している。また2006年からロドリゴ・ミルトとホアン・パブロ・フェラーによって考えられたレジデンスプログラムがスタート。このプログラムの主な目的は、国内と海外のそれぞれ独自の芸術性をエクスチェンジし、新たな創造を生み出そうというもの。ここで活動するアーティストは、地元のアートコミュニティや文化施設などでも紹介される。レジデンシア・コラゾンは、ブエノスアイレス州政府や議会、ラプラタ国立大学の協力により運営されている。

Our location in the centre of the city makes it a meeting place, not only for artists but also for local communities and visitors. The Residencia Corazón artists residency program was initiated in 2006. Conceived by Rodrigo Mirto and Juan Pablo Ferrer, the main objective of the program is the creation of a personalized and independent artistic exchange between national and international artists.The residency allows mutual enrichment and a professional and emotive approach towards new experiences and artistic creation. The visiting artists enjoy a dynamic and vibrant period of work in which they have a studio at their disposal in order to complete their projects. They are also introduced to new contacts within the local artistic community, cultural institutions and the general public. Residencia Corazón is supported by the government of the Province of Buenos Aires, the Town Council of La Plata and the National University of La Plata.
