Argentineans have a great sense of inspiration and art, as can be seen in the work of the native artists who have made history and the constant waves of talented youths who continue to come up. Culture has an important role in the life of the area and this is reflected in the wide variety of museums. The Malba (Museum of Latin American Art in Buenos Aires) or the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (National Museum of Fine Arts) are a must. At the same time, the small art galleries that spread in the fashionable neighbourhoods of Palermo and San Telmo show the new visions in art and design, typically local but with great European influence, which is a product of the fact that many Argentineans are descendants of immigrants who have made it to this land during the last century. - Text: Celeste Najt
