料理に使用されるお肉は全て北海道産。広大な北海道の大地で地元の生産者より大事に育てられたお肉は、牛、豚、鶏、羊、鹿、合鴨など季節感やバリエーションに富み、ノースコンチネントでは、その個性を生かしつつ、11〜15種類のスパイスと海塩、海草などの天然素材で仕立てるというこだわりだ。
メニューにあるお料理のお肉の種類を自分で選べるというのも特徴のひとつ。こだわりの北海道産のお肉は、いけだ牛、サロマ牛、新冠黒豚や、蝦夷鹿から選ぶことができ、ハンバーグの仕上げには、自家製照り焼きソースや白いんげんのトマト煮込み、色々なチーズの濃厚ソースなど、数種類あるソースから自分の好みの味をセレクトできる。また、通常ハンバーグメニューには、焼き野菜、ピクルス、道産フライドポテト、ごはん（パンの場合＋60円）がセットで楽しめる。
温もりのある雰囲気に包まれながら、サステイナブルなこだわりのハンバーグを味わうことで「北海道を旅する」ような気持ちも味わうことができる場所である。

Translation: Mariko Takei, contemporary music, and a quiet ambiance, broken occasionally by the sound of the sizzling grill.
All of North Continent’s steaks are made from respectfully sourced Hokkaido meats, raised on natural Hokkaido forage by caring local farmers. Each dish is artfully presented and served with a yakiishi: a hot, fist-sized stone on which you are invited to sear pieces of steak before eating, ensuring that every bite is as piping hot and delicious as the first.
From their menu, you can first select your preferred type of meat: Ikeda or Saroma beef, Niikappu black pork or Ezo deer. Then choose from several distinct preparations, including the Kawahata-family teriyaki recipe; tomato and white bean pureé; or a bubbling pot of different kinds of cheese. Roasted vegetables, a perfect, American-style pickle, fried potatoes and rice (or +60yen for bread) accompany each dish.
With its warm, inviting atmosphere and sustainable meats, North Continent is a restaurant where you can feel good about both where and what you are eating.
