Step into the world that is Dagmar Rousset and you’ll be blown away by extreme colour and a supreme creative force. The petite store, located in the heart of Fitzroy on Gertrude Street houses some of the most unique andダグマー・ルセットの世界に一歩足を踏み入れると、素晴らしい色と独創的な力に吹き飛ばされそうになるだろう。フィツロイの中心街、ジャートルード通りにあるこの小さな店は町のもっとも個性的で画期的なアパレルとアクセサリーレーベルを取り揃えている。
オーナーのジュリア・パウンドは、一つ一つの商品を自分の目で確認し、品物が特別でよりすぐりの物である事を確かめ、世界からも商品を集めている。アメリカのファッションレーベル「オール・ニットウェア」とも共同制作を行い、冴えた色とスタイルのルームウェアニットを制作した。そんなニットウェアの他にもP.A.M、ジャン・シャルルド・カステルバジャック、ユナイテッド・バンブー、ストラスコナ・アンド・ホームウェア・バイ・デール・ハードルマンなどの商品が揃っている。
ダグマー・ルセットではフランスの影響も大きいのかフランス語教室も行っており、午後には会話に重点を置いた授業を行っている。店の中に一歩足を踏み入れたら「すごい！」と声を上げずにはいられないだろう。

Owner Julia Pound sources some fines wears from around the globe, hand-selected to ensure that the pieces are special and almost hard to find. She even paired with US fashion label ALL Knitwear to create in-house knitwear offerings with undisputable colour and style. Alongside the knitwear you’ll find pieces from P.A.M, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, United Bamboo, Strathcona and homewares by Dale Hardiman just to name a few.
Certainly French-influenced, the store also hosts French classes held on evenings that pursue an emphasis on conversational knowledge. Nevertheless, once you step inside it will certainly have you saying ‘Ooh la la!’
