La Droguerie is a handicrafts shop which opened its business in Paris in 1975. The characteristics of the shop is carrying a lot of colorful materialsカラフルなボタンやリボン、毛糸などの様々な素材を扱う手芸材料店「ラ・ドログリー」。1975年パリのレ・アールに一号店をオープンして以来、様々な素材を通して人々に色を届けてきた。染め粉などの様々な材料が量り売りされていた昔ながらのお店をイメージとしており、店名は、「la droguerie」（ラ・ドログリー /日用雑貨店）と、「drôle」（ドロール/おもしろい）をかけたもの。レトロな家具が立ち並ぶ店内には、色とりどりの様々な種類の糸がつり下げられ、ビーズやスパングル、ラインストーンの瓶がところ狭しと並べられている。ビーズは、はかり売りも行っている。品揃えの多さでは世界から注目を浴びており、また、モードのコレクションの発表に合わせて、一年に２度新作を発表している。
ハンドメイドが初めての人も、手作りが大好きな人も、「ラ・ドログリー」で手に入れた素材を元に、世界でひとつだけのアクセサリーやニット作りを楽しめるはずだ。
