A quirky, local alternative to the Lomography Gallery Store in Minami-Aoyama, Camera Cabaret is Tokyo’s own home-grownトイカメラファンを生み出し続けている「カメラキャバレー」。南青山にはロモグラフィー・ギャラリー・ストア東京もあるが、カメラキャバレーは東京発で、一風変わったショップだ。店は渋谷の細い小道の裏にあり、店内に足を踏み入れれば、新旧さまざまなトイカメラが出迎えてくれる。
スーパーヘッズのメンバーとの連携もあり、世界中のトイカメラファンのメッカとなっている。トイカメラのコレクターならマストと思われるブラックバードフライ（２眼レフのトイカメラ）や、デジタルハリネズミを発売するなど、カルト的な地位を築いている。
店頭に並ぶ数々のカメラに圧倒されてしまった時は、小さなカメラのキーホルダーがオススメだ。どのカメラがいいか迷ったとしても、親切なスタッフが使い方などを詳しく教えてくれる。いつも流行の先を求める渋谷では、トイカメラは永久不滅に違いない。

Translation: Chihiro Miyazaki take on the now burgeoning toy camera phenomenon. Finding your way to the store, which is tucked behind the tight corners and curbs of Shibuya, is tricky but visitors will be greeted with shelf after shelf of toy cameras old and new.
With the cool people at SuperHeadz behind this venture, Camera Cabaret has been a mecca for toy camera lovers across the globe. It’s cult status is undeniable, as their in-house cameras such as the plastic reinvention of the traditional TLR (twin lens reflex) Blackbirdfly and digital harinezumi, have been must-haves of toy camera collectors. For those who may be daunted by the array of cameras available, you might want to check out their cute keyring cameras — or ask the passionate staff who will explain and demonstrate how to use the cameras if needed.
If you’re lucky, you might run into their in-house DJ and be treated to an ongoing camera-soundtrack specific to the Camera Cabaret experience. In hip Shibuya, these cameras never go out of style.
