DIESEL SHIBUYA is the world’s first large-scale concept store of DIESEL which opens its door on Meiji Street, Shibuya in November 2010. Located in the basement floor, DIESEL ART GALLERY features 4 art exhibitions2010年11月、渋谷・明治通り沿いにオープンする「DIESEL SHIBUYA」は、世界でも初となる大型コンセプトストア。この地下１階に誕生する「DIESEL ART GALLERY」では、DIESELがおすすめする様々なジャンルのアーティストを世界中から招いて年４回のアート展を開催。ファションブランドが手がけるギャラリーとあって、そのユニークなアーティストのセレクションは国内外から注目を集めている。アート作品やアーティスト関連グッズの販売も行う。
その記念すべきオープニングを飾るのは、今最も活躍する２人、マルチメディアアーティストのサイモン･ヘンウッドとジュエリーデザイナーのファニー・スキアヴォーニによる「Black Sun」。リアーナやカニエ・ウェストなどのクリエイティブディレクションで知られるイギリス出身のヘンウッドと、レディ・ガガやケイティ･ペリーなど世界中のセレブから絶大な支持を受けるスウェーデン出身のスキアヴォーニのタッグによる特別なコラボレーション展が実現する。
２層からなる店内には、DIESELのコレクションはもちろんのこと、コンテンポラリーラインのDIESEL BLACK GOLD、話題のホームコレクションまで多彩なアイテムを取り揃える。ギャラリーの他にも、DIESELのワインも楽しめるカフェスペース、オリジナルスーベニアグッズも登場。ライフスタイルを提案するDIESELならではの世界観がつまった世界で唯一のストアだ。

Since it is organized by a fashion brand, the gallery gains national and international attentions for its unique selection of artists. The gallery sells artworks as well as artist-related products.
As the DIESEL ART GALLERY opening exhibition, the collaborative special show “Black Sun” will be held by the most up-and-coming artist and designer, a multimedia artist Simon Henwood and a jewelry designer Fannie Schiavoni. Henwood from UK is known for his creative direction for Rihanna and Kanye West, and Schiavoni from Sweden receives a large following from worldwide celebrity such as Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.
DIESEL SHIBUYA will feature a wide variety of items, not only the DIESEL collection but also other contemporary line such as DIESEL BLACK GOLD as well as home collection. In addition to the gallery, it will have a cafe space where serves DIESEL original wine and sells original souvenir goods. It is the only store in the world where people can fully enjoy the world of DIESEL.
