The current theater scene in Stockholm is vibrant. The cities own scenes often offers great plays, both classical works and newly written. Several of the big established scenes have an alternative small scene through the back door showing new material. You also find private owned theaters managed by skillful actors, directors and producers. In the summer season you can easily find plays showed in public parks always for free.
