Art is like a good wine, you can be satisfied by a good producer but you always can go further and taste a bit of the most exquisite flavours. In Stockholm it is existing a diverse range of institutions現在ストックホルム市内には、文化分野において活動し、かつ高い水準を持った様々な団体が存在している。しかし著名なアーティストや新進気鋭の若手、さらに北欧諸国や海外からのアーティストを紹介していくには、さらに力を入れた活動が必要であろう。
2008年、グレガー・ウルフ・ニルソンとカロリナ・ストロンベルグによって、お洒落な店が数多く集まるヴァサスタン地区に誕生した「ガン・ギャラリー」はそんな現代写真を専門に扱う場所の一つ。確かに大勢には受け入れられないかもしれないが、そこに並んでいるのはどれも素晴らしい作品ばかりだ。
このギャラリーでは、マーティン・パーやゲリー・ヨハンソン、アンデルス・ペーターセン、イルヴィン・ペンなど多くの海外や国内の年代問わず様々な現代写真家の作品を展示している。

However, a more ambitious offer is required to achieve those gems either passed works from well-established or up and coming artists. Scandinvian artists or from abroad. Some places in town can make that happen. An open door to the minorities perhaps, that actually it follows by splendid selections. Art with bouquet. And better if you aim in one direction.
If we talk about contemporary photography Gun Gallery is one of those magical places. It was founded in 2008 and is owned by Greger Ulf Nilson and Karolina Strömberg. The gallery focuses on international and national contemporary photography and represents both well-established names and young emerging artists.
Far away of any intent to classify but to get an idea few names of artists scheduled so far are Martin Parr, Gerry Johansson, Anders Petersen or Irving Penn.
The gallery is located by the distintive area of Vasastan, a nice neighborhood in north downtown Stockholm famous for gather appreciated spots related to art, food and fashion.
