A new vibe is emitting from the heart of Duxton Hill. Think narrow Spanish streets, where people gather under candescent lighting, sharing the happenings of the day新しい雰囲気はダクストンヒルの中心から発信されている。人々が白熱灯のもとに集まり、愉快な夜食のあいだ、おいしいワインに満足しながら、その日あったことを互いにしゃべり合う様子を想像してほしい。しかしここはスペインではなく、青青と緑の茂った熱帯のシンガポールだ。
サビオはコンテンポラリーな雰囲気で、伝統的なスペインのタパスの味を紹介している。闘牛士のポスターや鮮やかな色のインテリアはここにはない。網点で表現された陰気な闘牛士とフラメンコダンサーがモダンな黒と白のタイル張りの壁に組み込まれ、新たに解釈し直されたモチーフを考えてみてほしい。冷蔵庫のショーケースは機能的で、それ自体の長さは全長９メートルもある。
サビオには、冷たいタパスや温かいタパスなど本格的かつ幅広い種類のタパスに似合う、ワイン、ビール、スピリッツが並ぶ。ワインとイベリコハムをほおばりながら、その日おこったニュースを楽しんでいる客達が街頭の輝きの下で通りに溢れているのを見ると、ここがスペインにいるような気分がしてもほとんど不思議ではない。

Translation: Mariko Uramoto over delightful snacks, while indulging good wine. Only this is not Spain, but the lush tropical setting of Singapore.
Sabio presents the traditional flavour of Spanish Tapas in a contemporary setting. No brightly coloured interiors with bullfighter posters. Think reinterpreted motifs incorporated into slick modern black and white tiled walls, with Ben-day dotted representations of the brooding bullfighter and Flamenco dancer. The refrigerator showcase is still a feature. Only lengthened. All nine meters of it.
An array of wines, beers and spirits, accompany by a comprehensive and authentic range of cold and warm Tapas. No wonder it almost feels like you are in Spain, especially when the crowd spills onto the street, relishing the news of the day with jamon iberico belotta over their vino, under the gleam of the streetlamps.
