都会に隣接する藻岩山に、冬の寒さが作り出す氷の神秘的な世界を演出するアートプロジェクト「BAR THE ICE」が期間限定でオープンした。世界的に活躍する造形作家、タケナカヒロヒコ氏が氷の造形作品製作や空間プロデュースを行う。An art project that produces the mysterious world of the ice by the cold of winter, “BAR THE ICE” has opened for a limited time only at Mt. Moiwa which is situated next to the city. A worldwide figurative artist, Hirohiko Takenaka produces the space and ice works.

モエレ沼公園Moerenuma Park
世界的な彫刻家イサム・ノグチが基本設計を担った、札幌市北東部に位置する総合公園、「モエレ沼公園」。1988年、83歳のイサム・ノグチは札幌を訪れ、この公園の壮大な構想を生み出した。Moerenuma Park in East-ward, Sapporo was designed by the world renowned sculptor Isamu Noguchi shortly before his death in 1988. 17 years passed, finally its grand opening was celebrated on July 1st, 2005.
