Nakasatsunai Art Village is situated in its vast site of 145,000 square meters with museums and restaurants in the Tokachi region Hokkaido. You can enjoy touring around the museums北海道十勝地方のおよそ145,000平方メートルの広大な敷地内に美術館やレストランが点在する中札内美術村。柏林に囲まれたまくら木の遊歩道を散策しながら、美術館めぐりを楽しむことができる。
敷地内には、帯広出身で現在ローマとニューヨークで制作活動を行っている彫刻家・板東優氏の、30〜40代の作品を展示する「夢想館」（写真）をはじめ、「相原求一朗美術館」、「小泉淳作美術館」、企画展示を行う「北の大地美術館」がある。
野外には、青木三四郎氏の「MEMORY」、板東優氏の「鐘を鳴らせ」「ふたり」、六花亭が毎年全国規模で開催している公募展「椅子のある風景 北の創作椅子展」の入選作品が展示されている。
また、レストラン「ポロシリ」では、中札内村の農産物を素材にしたメニューをはじめ、四季折々の家庭料理が楽しめる。晴れた日には屋外のテラスも利用できる。
中札内美術村を運営しているのは、「マルセイバターサンド」や「ホワイトチョコレート」など銘菓の数々を生みだしてきた、北海道を代表する和洋菓子ブランドの「六花亭」。十勝・帯広を拠点に北海道内に数多くの直営店を展開している。
六花亭では地域に根差した幅広い文化的な活動も行っている。十勝には中札内美術村から車で10分ほどに位置する「六花の森」があるので合わせて訪れて欲しい。

In the site there are 4 art museums and galleries including Musoukan (photo) where showcases Obihiro-born and Roma and New York based sculptor Masaru Bando‘s works made in his 30s and 40s, Aihara Kyuichiro Art Museum, Koizumi Junsaku Art Museum, and Kita no Daichi Art Museum.
There are also art pieces displayed in the open air of the village: Sanshiro Aoki’s “MEMORY”, Masaru Bando’s sculptural pieces and selected works from the annual competition that Rokkatei presents nationwide.
The restaurant “Porosir” offers seasonal home-style menus served with locally grown food. In sunny days, you can eat outside at the terrace.
Nakasatsunai Art Village is managed by a major confectionary brand in Hokkaido Rokkatei, known for their famous confections such as Marusei Butter Cookie and White Chocolate. Based in Obihiro and Tokachi area, Rokkatei runs a number of directly-managed stores in Hokkaido.
Rokkatei approaches to conduct a wide range of cultural activities in the regional community. In the Tokachi region, there is Rokka no Mori located near Nakasatsunai Art Village which takes only 10 minutes by car.
