「1+1=∞」をコンセプトにユニークで斬新なアイディアで独創的なクリエイティブの領域を創造し、大阪から世界に発信するクリエイティブチーム「SOZ」のコンセプトストア「SOZ LABORATORY & CAFE」が大阪東成区にオープンOn the basis of the concept “one plus one equals infinity”, SOZ LABORATORY & CAFE has opened in Higashinari-ku, Osaka as a concept store of SOZ, presenting the original interior furniture with radical and unique designした。１階はカフェ・バーとしてランチや喫茶・お酒をたのしめる空間に、２階はセレクトショップ&ギャラリーとしてSOZがセレクトしたプロダクトを展示販売している。
店舗の内装はすべて組み合わせ自在で形を変えられるブロック「SOZ ELEMENTS」を使用したユニークな空間になっており、ディスプレイは定期的に変化する。SOZ ELEMENTSは、大阪発でプラスチック成形の職人の手によって生まれた。商品化された後、フランスやイタリア、ドイツと様々なアート展にも出展され、2006年5月には、フランス・パリのルーブル装飾美術館の永久保存コレクションとして収蔵されるなど、国際的にも注目されている。

SOZ ELEMENTS was used for the entire interior space and it allows to combine pieces of the block with perfect freedom and to make a regular change of displays easily. SOZ ELEMENTS was created by an art craftsman working on plastic casting in Osaka. Then, it was showed widely in some exhibitions in France, Italy, and Germany. and finally got to be a part of the permanent collection of musée des Arts Décoratifs.
