Collaborating with the department store JR Osaka Mitsukoshi Isetan, FM802′s art project “digmeout” has opened an art gallery and shop named DMO ARTS on the third floor of the department storeFM802のアートプロジェクト「ディグミーアウト」が、JR大阪三越伊勢丹とコラボレートし、同百貨店３階に開廊したアート ギャラリー&ショップ「DMO ARTS」（ディー・エム・オー・アーツ）。

2011年5月にオープンしたJR大阪三越伊勢丹は、JR大阪駅の真上という好立地で、国内外から年間5000万人の来店が予想される大型百貨店で、メイン・エントランスである３階は、インターナショナルファッションとカルチャーを融合する、百貨店の核となるフロアだ。「DMO ARTS」は、30m²のギャラリーゾーンを中心に、全長 7.5メートルの常設アートウォールや雑貨販売スペースを併設している。

年間24本の若手アーティストの個展を軸に、大阪の現代美術ギャラリーと協力したアート展、アート感覚あふれるTシャツや雑貨、アクセサリーなどの販売など、これまで培ってきたネットワークを駆使し、フレッシュなアイディアを次々に展開。

注目は、アートを買う行為を身近に体感してもらえる「My First Art」シリーズで、サイズの統一されたアート作品300種類が、一律9800円で購入できる。

「ヤングアート、大阪から世界へ」をテーマに、若手アーティストの発掘、育成、大企業とのコラボレーションを次々に実現してきたディグミーアウトならではの、単なるショップを超えた、発信力のあるスペースだ。

The JR Osaka Mitsukoshi Isetan is a department store that opened on May 2011, located right above the JR Osaka station. Due to its convenient location, it is expected to attract 50 million visitors from both Japan and overseas. The third floor is the main floor featuring international fashion and culture, where DMO ARTS owns a gallery space of 30 sq m, a project wall of 7.5m long, and an art shop.

DMO ARTS holds 24 young artists’ annual solo exhibitions, as well as
collaborative group exhibitions with contemporary art galleries throughout Osaka. DMO ARTS also carries out the “My First Art” project, attempting to bring art closer to people’s daily life through the sale of local artists’ T-shirts, goods, and accessories.

The “My First Art” is a series that that promotes art through the ability to purchase it, allowing customers to purchase 300 kinds of uniformly-sized pieces of art for the same price of 9800 yen. Digmeout has dug out and educated young artists while collaborating with gigantic corporate firms, aiming to achieve their motto, “young art, from Osaka to the world”. Living up to its reputation, digmeout makes DMO ARTS an influential gallery space.
