SLANT is a gallery opened in front of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa in September 2009. Launched with the 1st exhibition held by the 2 photographer, Hirano Taro and Shingo Wakagi2009年9月に金沢21世紀美術館前にオープンしたギャラリー「SLANT」（スラント）。オープニング第１回目の展覧会として開催した、ボーダレスな活動を続ける写真家の平野太呂と若木信吾による写真展を皮切りに、ギャラリーSLANTでは国内外問わず、写真、イラストレーション、デザインなどを中心とした企画展を定期的に展開している。また、レンタルギャラリー、レンタルスペースとしても利用が可能。
日本三名園の一つとして名を馳せる庭園「兼六園」からも近いので、金沢の街を散策がてら、目の前にある金沢21世紀美術館などアート巡りの場所のひとつとして訪れたいギャラリーだ。
