施設中央部の1000人収容可能なローマ風屋外劇場からは、ステージと上品に照らされた運河が見渡せる。観客席ではビーンバッグチェアに座り、月や星の下でシーシャ（水タバコ）を吸いながらくつろぐことができる。平日、休日問わず、食事やショッピング、パーティー、クラブを楽しむ人でいつも溢れている。
劇場やアリーナではたくさんの文化的イベントが定期的に行われている。最近ではドバイ・インターナショナル・ポエトリー・フェスティバルが開催された。また夜は、ブルジュ・アル・アラブをカメラに収めるベストスポットにもなる。

Getting lost in the maze of shops, you can also find up to 50 bars and restaurants, offering Lebanese to Polynesian food. A large outdoor amphitheatre which seats a thousand people forms the centrepiece of the complex, overlooking a stage and a gently lit canal. It is a place where you can grab comfy beanbags to smoke Sheesha (water tobacco) under the moon and stars. Weekday or weekend, this place is always filled with people dining, shopping or partying and clubbing.
Lots of cultural events are held in theatre and arena regularly, most recently the Dubai International Poetry Festival. For those who want to find the best spot to capture Burj Al Arab in your camera, this place is probably the best especially at night.
