1. 404031DVD
We finally started selling it in early 2002 with Shift in Japan and later with WeWorkForThem in the States. It's been selling more than what I expected for what it is. It's sort of my mass-produced conceptual art piece which took about more than a year to finish. It's cool that a bunch of people from all over the world got to see it.
2. Grand Central Holiday Light show
We got to work on a huge animation to be projected on the ceiling of the Grand Central Station. It run for a month and half at the holiday season and the show had been seen by millions of New York city commuters. Creativetime and their sponsors who organized the show picked 6 artists out of 40 and C404 was lucky to be one of them. My partner Jason Mohr worked really hard on that, and it came out pretty awesome.
3. The Knobs
The Band used to be called P2P. My band mate Sean and I changed it earlier this year to The Knobs. We were productive. We have a good amount of tracks to make an album. One track was included in the electronic music compilation which came out early 2002 in Spain.
4. Pretty good rock music to listen in year 2002
I play electronic music now but when it comes to listening to it, I still do listen to more rock. There was a bunch of good rock bands especially from my local NY this year. NY rock scene had been really boring for a years but it was different in 2002. Maybe it's just media hype but I still enjoyed it. My favorites are Liars, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Interpol.
5. Switched to PC
This is the most boring thing people have to hear but I couldn't deal with over-priced, unstable slower machine with less apps to play with anymore. I'm done with mac. Mac looks cooler though, but not that I have to wear it to look good for parties. I have to say that I'm quite happy with the switch I made.
