1. Family and friends It is only in front of you when I can be just myself. Thank you for accepting me at all times. I noticed that if I strongly wish "I want to see him/her", I can really see them, even though I have not seen them for ages. In this case, both of us usually were wishing the same thing. 2. Kyoto I went to Kyoto, the old and historical city in Japan, to see my best friend in May. Going through the city of Kyoto by bicycle was fantastic. It was also great to visit temples in a mountain in Takao area. It was warm and cozy to lie down on a verandah of a temple, where was near my friend's place, and have a chat with her. 3. My article I was not confident to write an article for a magazine, which is distribute all over Japan, but mine was featured in the "Web Creators" August issue published from MdN. I believe that I could not do this without my boss Mr Oguchi's help. I went to a bookstore and took some photos there. I was really happy. 4. Concerts and a play I went to several concerts and a play in this year but I enjoyed Issey Ogata's one-man stage play the best. About seven years have passed since I was impressed by his performance (I watched it on TV) and finally, I could see his live performance. I could shake hands with him, took a photo with him and get his signature. I felt I was in a dream when he was talking to only me! A concert of violinist Taro Hakase was also amazing. 5. Yukio Mishima's Letter Lesson Yukio Mishima was a great Japanese novelist who died in 1970 and his "Yukio Mishima's Letter Lesson" is the best book I read this year. In this book, I could read many letters exchanged between five characters. They pretend to be a cool person in public but I could see their true characters in the letters. However, I think everybody is like them and so am I. I never get weary of reading this book and I can understand their feelings in a different way whenever I read it.
