1. Nikelab.com
I art directed a site for Nike called Nikelab.com, a cinematic interactive experience of Nike innovation and inspiration. It was probably one of the most intense projects I ever worked on to date. It was almost like directing a film because I had to deal with so many different creative aspects of the project from conceptualizing and designing to directing various artists.

2. Tronic
With three friends, we joined forces to form Tronic. We leverage our various backgrounds as architects, designers, art directors, and directors to establish a collective fusing of ideas, images, movement and experience. By actively shaping all projects through a rigorous conceptual process, we transcend preconceived notions of how to arrive at a particular creative solution within any of the media that we work. We are still very far from where we want to be. It's only a humble beginning for us.

3. ADC Gold
For one of the works that I did this year, I received a gold award from the Art Director's Club. Although there were so many things that I couldn't do in the work, it was still nice to be recognized by such a prestigious organization as the Art Director's Club.

4. Trip to Japan
After 3 years, I finally made a trip back to Japan. It was the longest stretch of time that I hadn't been back. Many things seemed to be the same yet slightly different. One thing that I did notice was that Japan seemed more diverse in terms of trend. Usually in the past, it was easy to spot a trend on the streets. This time around, however, young people seemed to have more of their own styles, which, I think is a good thing.

5. My brother got engaged
My brother (who happened to be the same age as me) got engaged to his long-time girlfriend. It made me feel old. I'm very happy for them.
