1. New Job
I began a new job in December. this position is not my favorite job, but allows me to gain financial stability and is a means to enjoy life with a little less stress.
2. New Friend
Met a new friend and his girlfriend this summer. New friends are always nice, but since these two returned from a year in Osaka, I get to hear all about the little things that make Japan so fascinating to this gaijin.
3. Comic Book
I can't read books anymore so I started reading Lone Wolf and Cub. This great series shows perspectives of life I don't often think about in my daily routine. While some of the interesting bits are unique to feudal Japan, many more are universal and timeless.
4. Great Summer
Enjoyed a great summer, neither too hot nor too rainy. Got to cavort around the area and enjoyed work picnics every Friday.
5. Healthy
The older you get the more you value good health. I wasn't sick one day in 2002 and I hope that trend continues. I advise being lazy and not worrying too much.
