Hudson-Powell is a London based design and art direction team formed by brothers Jody and Luke one year ago. "Responsive Type" will be their first exhibition and will be shown in Japan at Soso in Sapporo.

Over the past year Hudson-Powell have worked on projects focusing on the dual development of concept and medium. Previous work has spanned motion graphics, print, video and installation. In this exhibition they have developed a dynamic typographic form that is scale responsive. The letter forms adjust their graphic complexity in real time, maximizing legibility at smaller point sizes by becoming simpler in structure and becoming more elaborate and complex at larger scales. .
Large-sized print posters supported by PRINT'EM will be exhibited. Also, T-shirts collaborated by BEAMS T will be on sale.
