トーキョーワンダーサイト２館目の施設。東京の国際ネットワークのプラットフォーム強化をめざして2005年に開館。The second stronghold of Tokyo Wonder Site (TWS) was opened in 2005 with the aim to reinforce the efforts of TWS to become a platform for an international network.The tasks of TWS Shibuya include the implementation of collaborative projects with alternative spaces and cultural institutions overseas, and events introducing internationally active foreign artists and young creators from Japan. “TWS art cafe´ kurage”, which combines the functions of an art gallery and a cafe´, and the “slowpink” art market where visitors to the Shibuya area can purchase works of art and related articles in a casual manner, are new gathering spots in central Tokyo that were designed to convey a sense of accessibility of fine art.
